The PETRA consortium

A comprehensive lymphoma PET database

A Targeted Approach

The PETRA project is an international consortium that is initiated by the Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc, and funded by Alpe D’Huzes, Hanarth Fonds and The Dutch Cancer Society. The PETRA project investigates the relevance of [18]FDG-PET/CT in lymphoma for prognosis, treatment response prediction and treatment response assessment. The following aspects are currently being investigated:

  • The value of interim PET (i-PET) and the optimal timing during treatment

  • The effect of different therapies

  • Response criteria optimization at end-of-treatment using visual and semi-quantitative criteria

  • Cost-effectiveness

  • Methodology in MTV assessment at baseline, interim and end-of-treatment PET

  • Radiomics & AI at different timepoints of PET imaging

  • Deep learning for response prediction of DLBCL, FL and MM patients
